Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Couple Name Combiner ("we", "us", "the site") is a free tool available at couplenamecombine.com. We designed it to work without accounts and without collecting personal information.

2. Information you enter

The names, surname and wedding year you type into the combiner are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

3. Data stored on your device

• Favorites. When you save a name to your favorites, it is stored in your browser's local storage on your device so it is still there next time you visit. We cannot see it. You can remove favorites at any time or clear your browser's site data.
• Shareable links. The site updates the page address with the names you entered so you can share the result. Anyone you send that link to will be able to see those names, so share it only if you are comfortable doing so.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site does not currently set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.

5. Third-party services

• Google Fonts. We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. As with any resource loaded from a third party, your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google's servers. SeeGoogle's Privacy Policy.
• Speech synthesis. The pronunciation feature uses your browser's built-in Web Speech API. Depending on your browser and device, speech may be generated locally or by your browser vendor's service.
• Hosting. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and reliability purposes.

6. Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and do not sell or share it.

7. Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Your choices

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is generally nothing for us to delete. You can clear saved favorites from within the site or by clearing your browser's site data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@couplenamecombine.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
